Who Should Attend

  • Electricians who have installed AC chargers and want to handle post-install support calls with confidence.
  • Electricians looking to reduce repeat site visits and unnecessary escalations.
  • Installers who want to learn how to use a charge tester (Metrel A 1532 XA) for on-site diagnostics.
  • Anyone who has completed the AC Charging Fundamentals course and wants to take the next step.

What We Cover

Why most reported faults aren't actually faults. Learn to separate real charger issues from expectation mismatches around charge rates, vehicle limits, and user error.

  • Pre-Site Preparation & Customer Engagement

How to gather the right information before attending site. Ask better questions, get clearer fault descriptions, and avoid wasted visits.

  • Structured Troubleshooting

Follow a repeatable diagnostic process using JET Charge's onsite fault-finding checklist with real-world video walkthroughs of common scenarios.

  • Testing & Diagnostics

Learn to use a charge tester (Metrel A 1532 XA) and an EV for functional, load, and safety testing and how to interpret results.

  • Escalation & Preventative Maintenance

Know when and how to escalate, what info to collect and how routine maintenance can prevent most issues (and become a service you offer).
