What's Included

Cabling

• Review site electrical reticulation plan, including cable tray routes, surface conduit layouts, and containment systems.
• Verify cable sizing to ensure suitability for charger connection loads and installation conditions.
• Assess cable current-carrying capacity for the overall project installation.

Circuit Breakers

• Review circuit breaker discrimination and protection coordination across all distribution levels.
• Verify adequacy of circuit breaker ratings for the complete installation, ensuring compliance with fault level and load demand requirements.
• Verify circuit breaker rating and single phase is minimum 10A single phase for CORE Mini/Max
• Verify circuit breaker rating and three phase is minimum 10A single phase for CORE Basic
• Upstream circuit breakers coordinated with CORE setting
• Confirm appropriate circuit breaker sizing and configuration dedicated to EV chargers and JET Charge CORE.
  

Communications

• Verify communication cable distances, signal integrity, and compliance with system design requirements.
  

Installation & civil works

• Review coordination with other service disciplines, including structural penetrations, scanning, and builder’s work details.
• Review civil works design relating to electrical infrastructure, including trench sizing, conduit arrangements, and pit layouts for power and communication cabling."
• Verify physical protection measures such as bollards, wheel stops, and guardrails, in accordance with site safety requirements.
• Review installation details, including AC cable terminations, charger base plate installation, and earthing arrangements.
  

Switchboard

• Confirm switchboard design and sizing in accordance with NCC and AS/NZS standards.
• Review switchboard specifications, including fault rating, ingress protection (IP), current rating, installation location, and allowance for future expansion."
  

Power Supply

• Review requirements for dual supply or redundancy arrangements to maintain operational continuity.
• Assess solar generation integration and load-sharing considerations within the site electrical network.
• Review supply offer conditions and ensure compliance with network operator requirements.
  

CORE Design

• Max CORE setting correct against MD and building supply
• CORE basic within 3m from CT
• CT ratio is correct
• Verify EV charger compatibility with CORE
• Load management strategy notes are clear: demand response, dynamic load allocation
